Brand New Chapter

A great deal has changed in the last year or so, the move to Northern Vancouver Island in 2022 being the biggest thing.

It was bittersweet to say goodbye to my mountains and the wonderful town of Jasper. Definitely more bitter than sweet, as I had spent the last 11 years of my life there, building a life and a connection to the community.   As I write this, I can look out the window to the ocean - so there are definitely sweet aspects too!

But, as the saying goes, "all good things..."  And Jasper was a good thing that ended as we moved on to Vancouver Island.

Chris and I will never forget the wonderful people of Jasper - or how you have supported us, not just in the tea store, but in every part of our lives.

Much of the last year and a half was spent adapting to our new community and climate. Now as we are coming to the final part of 2023, I feel it’s time to take up the tea business again.

On August 19th 2023 I had my first ever vendor table at Port McNeill’s annual Orca Fest. It was a great success, and I had a lot of fun meeting new people and selling tea. I’m looking forward to the Fall Fair next month!

All in all, it’s been a good year. I still miss my Mountains, but also love my new home near the sea, and am looking forward to a new chapter in my business!
